BLS 4651

Car 455
Car 455 is a 2002 Ford Expedition. It is utilized as a chief’s vehicle, personnel transporter, and is equipped for patient transport. The unit is outfitted with various radios for command, a repeating system for the radios, and various BLS equipment.
Heavy Rescue 4556
Heavy Rescue 4556 is our primary rescue vehicle and responds as our first out rescue except on water rescues, which it is the second due. It is a 2004 Pierce, built on a 6 man quantum chassis with a 23 foot non-walk in body. 45-56 has a 500 horsepower 60 series Detroit engine, Tak 4 suspension, rollover protection, 55kw PTO generator, a 20kw Harrison Generator, a 9 bottle breathing air cascade, a 9000 watt quartz light tower, 1 4000 watt metal halide light tower.
Marine 455-1
Marine 455-1 is a 1980 20 foot Boston Whaler. It’s equipped with a 100 HP outboard motor, depth finder, GPS, and a VHF radio. 455-1 is the secondary response boat.
Marine 455-2
Marine 455-2 is a 2004 Ribcraft semi-rigged inflatable rescue boat. It is outfitted with a 115 HP Honda 4 stroke out board motor, GPS, depth finder & VHF radio. 455-2 is the primary response boat.
Special Services 4557
Special Services 4557 is a 2003 GMC 5500 chassis with an Almont Fire Trucks body. It serves as a special operations vehicle serving multiple tasks. Primarily it is the water rescue vehicle and the tow vehicle for the TRU. The truck also serves as a second due and back up rescue. It is equipped with a drying system piped throughout the cabinets, a 5000 watt Honda generator, 2 1500 quartz lights mounted in the body, and 2 1500 watt tripods off of the back of the truck.
Trench 455
TRU45 (Technical Rescue Support Unit) is a Haulmark 22-foot trailer. The TRU carries our shoring equipment for trench & structural collapse, dewatering & trash pumps, large scale outdoor lighting, construction equipment, and many other special tools and equipment. It has been dubbed “the real tool box”.
