After the building was dedicated three rooms within the building were dedicated to those who have been instrumental to the success of the Squad and the construction of the new building. The vehicle bay room was dedicated to Assistant Chief Frank Setnicky, the day room was dedicated to Rose & Bob Milligan, and the community room was dedicated to Martha Subber.
After the building dedication was completed the Squad’s new 2004 Pierce Quantum rescue truck was ready to be housed. After remarks by Assistant Chief and Rescue Truck Committee Chair Frank Setnicky, the rescue truck was “pushed” into its bay by the members of the Squad.
With the ceremonies complete the building was opened to the public. All the vehicles were opened for display and the building was opened for tours. The public was treated to sandwiches donated by Shop-Rite of Hunterdon County and Italian ices donated by Rita’s Italian Ice. Free blood pressure screenings were provided and CPR demonstrations preformed.
A great time was had by all that attended.
