Evan started his emergency services in 2008, when he became a volunteer with the County Hills Fire Company (Bridgewater NJ), where he is still an active firefighter and served a 5 year turn at a trustee. In 2009, he joined the Branchburg Rescue Squad (Branchburg NJ) and obtained his EMT certification. He continues today as a volunteer EMT & Crew Chief with BRS. In 2012, Evan joined the career staff here at CFARS as a per-diem EMT, as well as the Bridgewater Township Police Department as a Public Safety Dispatcher.
Currently Holtz is an EMT instructor aid with the CFARS EMS Training Center, and Operational Instructor with RVESCUE, LLC, a private emergency services consulting firm. Evan is hoping to be selected into the NJ EMT Instructor program for 2017.
EMT/FF Evan Holtz will be starting his new position with CFARS in early November, and we welcome him on board as our newest full time member and officer.
