NJ issued a Travel Restriction effective midnight last night for all travels, including residents, coming INTO NJ from States with significant spread of COVID-19. For the latest list of states and actions necessary, refer to:
Per State Office of Emergency Medical Services, and our medical director Steven Vetrano, DO, all responders MUST wear an N95 or greater for ALL patient interactions for entire time you are with patient.
In conditions where ventilation with a bag valve mask (BVM) is warranted, providers may utilize passive oxygenation in lieu of BVM ventilation.

All patient contacts use a N-95, if not suspected COVID can reuse the mask for the shift. If suspected COVID it goes into the trash!
All facilities COVID is to be suspected and full PPE is to be used on ALL calls. These facilities include HDC, Country Arch, Rolling Hills, Edna Mahan Correctional and Mountain View Correctional Facility.
South Branch Emergency Services will NOT be instituting the Triage to Home waivers. Follow normal treatment protocols and/or RMA/AMA.

Obtain Clean Probe Cover
Insert clean probe cover and unit will turn on
When you see screen show probe & ear you are ready
Insert probe into ear, press silver button & wait for beep
Probe will display temperature
Dispose of probe cover by pressing down on black release
