Ambulances will continue to the Emergency Department as usual and will not be redirected to the Tent.
When departing, all traffic will be diverted across the front of the Medical Center to exit.
The Rapid Assessment Tent will be seeing patients who have Influenza Like Illness (ILI) or Coronavirus like complaints. The hours of operation will be 10 am to 6 pm, seven days per week.
As the public approaches the Emergency Department, they will stop at a screening booth for a quick determination to decide if they should be going directly to the Emergency Department or diverted around back to the tent.
I have attached a link to tour the Rapid Assessment Tent:
The UV-C Lantern will be available at the E.D. Registration Desk From 00:01 Sat 4/4 thru 8 am on Monday 4/6. Wipe the vehicle down with disinfectant wipes, give the Registrar your vehicle key, get the Lantern, upon finishing, return the Lantern and get your keys. (If you back your vehicle up to the MICU Bay door closest to the elevator there is an extension cord available to plug the Lantern in.)
For your protection: "Please Mask all your patients on first contact."
