CLINTON TWP. – A person was airlifted by the State Police NorthSTAR helicopter following a dirt bike accident shortly before 6 p.m. on Thursday off Old Mountain Road.
A landing zone was set up by the Round Valley Reservoir on Route 629 near the Cherry Street extension. There were no further details on the accident available on Thursday evening.
Responding were the township police, Clinton and Whitehouse rescue squads and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Annandale Fire Department established the landing zone.
