The first MVA ended up being 3 yellow, 17 green and 14 white (non injured). The entrapped patient was extricated by Rescue 45-57, extrication was a little bit challenging due to the need for crews to climb over other vehicles. Units assisting at the first incident were units from Clinton, Pattenburg, High Bridge, Flemington,Whitehouse and EMS-1 MICU with a total of 10 ambulances, 1 rescue and 1 engine from Annandale Hose Company.
The second MVA was about 1 mile east of our location IC was Bucky Buchanan, County EMS coordinator who was enroute to the first incident and came across the second. NO entrapment at this incident. Units assisting were Whitehouse, Pattenburg and Bloomsbury total of 4 ambulances and one engine from Annandale Hose Company
As units were clearing these two major MVA’s Clinton was dispatched to a third then fourth MVA in the same area, the third MVA ended up with no injuries handled by ambulance 45-53 and the fourth had one neck injury without entrapment handled by ambulance 45-52, 22-51 (Whitehouse) and Rescue 45-57.
Other units assisting at scene were NJ State Police, Clinton Twp OEM, Hunterdon County OEM, NJ State Police OEM, Annandale Hose Company, Washington Emergency Squad (covering Clinton), Branchburg Rescue (covering Flemington ) and the Hunterdon County mass transit service with 2 buses to transport uninjured people back to Clinton Rescue Squad building for families to pick them up.
