Three people were injured in a single-car crash on Mechlin Corner Road (Route 625) at Rachel Court in Union Township on Saturday, Oct. 3. Emergency crews were dispatched at 11:08 p.m., according to police.
A Ford Mustang was apparently traveling northbound on Route 625 when it crossed into the opposite lane and crashed into a tree. There were four people in the car and three had to be extricated, police said.
One person was flown by NorthStar medivac helicopter to Morristown Medical Center. Two others were transported to Hunterdon Medical Center by Pattenburg and Clinton rescue squads.
Route 625 was down to a single lane until 12:15 a.m.
Responding to the call were the New Jersey State Police, Pattenburg Fire Department, Pattenburg Rescue Squad, Clinton Rescue Squad and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center.
