Doug joined the Clinton Squad in February 2012, and worked his way up to the position of EMS Captain with the department, a volunteer position. Prior to accepting this full time position, Doug served with the Kingwood Twp First Aid & Rescue Squad, the Pattenburg Rescue Squad, the Lambertville-New Hope Ambulance and Rescue Squad where he has served as a a Career Staff Supervisor/EMT and the Flemington-Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad where he has served as their volunteer coordinator since October 2018.
Outside of EMS, Lt. Gimson is also an American Heart Association CPR instructor and a Highway Safety Instructor for both VFIS and the New Jersey State Police Traffic Incident Management team. Doug holds a Bachelors Degree of Athletic Training from Liberty
EMT Gimson will be starting his new position later this month, as he works to transition from Lt. Holtz. CFARS would like to thank Evan for his years of leadership and growth within the department, and wish both these officers the best in their future endeavors
