CLINTON TWP. - Clinton First Aid & Rescue Squad's EMS Training Center and the Hunterdon County EMS Chief's Association held a leadership training seminar called Step Up and Lead at the township middle school on Saturday.
It drew some 135 EMS, firefighters, police, police explorers and local politicians and corporate emergency response personnel from three states.
The speaker was Frank Viscuso, a deputy chief and career firefighter from Kearny, who is co-creator of FireOpsOnline.com. He is a nationally-recognized instructor and speaker, and the author of six books, according to a news release.
Viscuso has spoken to audiences about officer development, leadership, team building and customer service. Some of those who attended said it was one of the best training seminars they have been to, according to the release.
