POSITIONS: (4) PART TIME EMTs & (4) PER DIEM EMTs
Work Locations: Somerville, NJ (Somerset County) and Northern Hunterdon County
Position Summary
The Part Time EMT is a 26 hour per week is a set scheduled position, and the Per-Diem is a flexible schedule 13-hour a week minimum. These positions are primary responsibility is that of an on-the-ambulance EMT. In addition to covering ambulance duty, the Part-Time & Per-Diem EMT may have duties and chores around the station, including but not limited to restocking of ambulances, washing and general cleaning duties of the Station assigned, and other duties as assigned by the Deputy Chief of EMS.

High School Graduate or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years active NJ or National EMT experience in 9-1-1 service
Valid Driver’s License
At least 19 years of age
Daytime availability to include weekends
Licensures/Certifications

NJ or National Register EMT
CPR certification by a NJOEMS-Approved accrediting agency
CEVO/EVOC
ICS 100, 200, NIMS 700 & 800
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
Vehicle Rescue Operations & Technical Rescue Awareness
Additional certifications may be required within 6 months of hire
Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 hourly, per current CFARS salary guidelines
