CLINTON TWP. — A medivac helicopter was called after a man was hit by a tractor trailer while riding his bicycle at the intersection of Routes 629 and 618 this evening, May 19.
The accident occurred around 7:10 p.m. The man was transported from the scene by paramedics from the Clinton Rescue Squad and Hunterdon Medical Center to a landing zone set up by Annandale Hose Company in the parking lot of Farm Credit East on Route 618.
The helicopter from Atlantic Air Ambulance - Air Three, based out of Morristown Medical Center, took off at 8:22 p.m.
Clinton Township Police also responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
