TEWKSBURY — An SUV crashed into a tree in Tewksbury Township this morning.
A call was dispatched at 10:11 a.m. for a crash with the driver possibly trapped. A Ford Expedition was apparently traveling east on Sutton Road when it left the road, crashing into a tree on the opposite side.
Police arrived and reportedly found that the driver wasn't trapped, but may be having a medical issue. The driver was transported to Morristown Medical Center by Clinton Rescue Squad and paramedics.
Responding to the accident were the Tewksbury Township Police, Clinton Rescue Squad, and paramedics from Hunterdon Medical Center. Fire departments and heavy rescue vehicles were canceled while en route.
Tewksbury police are handling the investigation.
