After about 1 hour of surface water searching, additional requests were made to the West Jersey K-9 Search & Rescue dogs to assist, along with Hunterdon County OEM’s Mobile Command Post.
At approximately 2:00pm, after 2 hours of rescue searches on the water and ground, the scene was turned over the Hunterdon County Prosecutors Office, who assumed command of the recovery operation to follow, in conjunction with the NJ State Police.
A total of 19 CFARS members, 2 boats, 2 BLS Ambulances, Special Services, REHAB & 2 cars were staffed and working on scene. CFARS continued to support the operation with 2 rescue boats and crew until just after 7:30 pm, when units were released by NJSP.
