Eagle Scout, Brendan Feeley recently achieved this honor with Troop 200. To receive this award, he had to build and lead a service project at his church. Brendan has been scouting since he was in first grade. He has served as Patrol Leader, Quartermaster, and Troop Guide.
Brendan currently volunteers at Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad. He is also a summer camp counselor at Camp Carr where he works with primarily six and seven year olds. Brendan played JV Boys Tennis in freshman and sophomore year. Last year, he began playing varsity where he played first doubles with Richard Chen. Brendan is a member of the National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and is the Treasurer of the Math Honor Society. His favorite class at North was AP Biology with Mrs. Flynn. Even though the class is a lot of work, it taught him how to study for a college-level class and Mrs. Flynn always knew how to keep everyone motivated with her “dingy” analogy.
Brendan’s favorite memories at North were rolling a bowling ball down the hallway in Freshman Physics and seeing Governor Christie speak on an AP Government field trip. Next year, Brendan plans on majoring in chemical engineering at either University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, or Northwestern University.
